Redlands Coast is a contemporary Redlands Coast map art series that interprets the region’s geography through layered woodcuts and spatial representation. These works read the territory at a regional scale, extending from Moreton Island and the Brisbane River to the north, with Straddie and Redland at the centre, and the wider coastal and hinterland systems that shape how the region functions ecologically, culturally, and spatially.

Rather than focusing on individual sites, the artworks frame open space as a connected regional system. Through layered cuts and the use of negative space, landforms and waterways are distilled into a tactile language that slows how place is read. The works invite reflection on connectivity, scale, resilience, and long-term stewardship of the landscape.
